What the items you carry in your pocket everyday say about you, and how you are perceived by the world

Hello again, dear reader,

By now, everyone has seen some sort of EDC or pocket dump video on YouTube.  I've seen, probably hundreds if not thousands of them, as I'm always interested in seeing a new gadget or a new way to use it everyday tool that I'd never thought of before.

As a person with the disability, There are some essential items that I do carry with me daily. Such as a pair of scissors, either in a Swiss Army knife or a small pocket pair of scissors; this is because without a purpose scissors it is really hard for me to open basic everyday packages such as a snack bar or an envelope Etc. I also carry plenty of hand sanitizer wipes, even before the pandemic. I have always carried these in my pocket simply because as a person with a disability, there is no guarantee in any public space that I will be able to reach the sink, to wash my hands when necessary.

Furthermore, I also always carry a few prepackaged ibuprofen pills to combat headaches and migraines as they arise. Along with a Fisher space pin bullet, not just because I think they are cool and collectible (which they are). I have learned over the years that using a Fisher space pen pressurized ink cartridge means that I don't have to push very hard on a writing surface to write legibly when signing a receipt or a document.

Generally, I also carry some sort of energy bar or snack bar Everywhere I Go just in case, I am unable to find food that is easy for me to eat if my blood sugar drops. I also carry a stainless steel collapsible drinking straw because I am unable to pick up a drinking glass, without spilling due to a lack of dexterity. I also have taken to wearing a smartwatch, not for fitness purposes, but simply because it is the fastest way to access my phone for making calls and sending messages. Without risking the possibility of dropping my phone on the floor. Wearing a smartwatch also allows me to pay for everyday items without having to remove my credit card from my wallet and again risking dropping it on the floor.

All the items that I carry with me daily, got me thinking about how these items are perceived by the rest of the world and what they say about me, as an individual. So today, dear reader, that is precisely what we are going to discuss. How the items that you and I carry every day are perceived by the rest of the world, and what those items say about our personalities and lifestyles, and even secrets.
